The following recommendations are mandatory

3 days before the scheduled surgery, we recommend that you stop taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that can affect blood clotting, as well as stop taking Omega 3 and some dietary supplements. It is also important to inform the plastic surgeon and anesthesiologist if you are taking oral contraceptives.

If the surgery is scheduled in 2 weeks, especially in the case of mammoplasty, it is important to stop going to the gym. This will allow the muscles to relax as much as possible and avoid hypertonicity, which can complicate the rehabilitation process. We also advise you to refrain from smoking and limit alcohol consumption for six months before surgery, as this promotes better healing and reduces the risk of complications.

It is recommended to selectively use sedatives or hypnotics the evening before surgery. It is necessary to arrange in advance with a relative or friend so that they can accompany you home and stay with you for 2-3 days after surgery.

It is worth remembering that following the recommendations during the preparatory period is critical to avoid complications after surgery. By taking into account your diet, habits, and physical activity, as well as taking into account chronic diseases that may affect your immune system and skin condition, you will create optimal conditions for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.

What you need to bring with you to the surgery:

Passport, identification code and money, comfortable clothes, a change of clothes, personal hygiene items, water without gas (you will be able to drink for several hours after the operation), entertainment magazines, books or gadgets to spend time during recovery.
