Indications for eyelid correction
With increasing age, noticeable changes can occur in the eyelid area. The delicate skin stretches and becomes thinner, which leads to visible sagging of the skin around the eyes. Eyelid defects can appear at an early age, for example, due to certain diseases or individual characteristics.
In such cases, eyelid correction is a universal and safe plastic surgery. It allows you to correct an extra layer of skin, change the incision or shape of the eyes and visually stop the aging process. Afterwards, the face really looks younger and the eyes become more open. Your family and friends will definitely not be able to refrain from complimenting you on your new look.
Often, the concept of eyelid correction is mistakenly confused with other procedures, and our clients come to us with questions that this particular surgery will not solve.
Types of eyelid correction
Eyelid correction can be performed using different methods, depending on the indications for this plastic surgery. There are three main methods:
- upper correction is used if a person has eyelid overhang and fat hernias
- lower correction is performed in the presence of bags under the eyes and swelling
- circular correction is used when you need to completely change the incision and shape of the eyes. In this case, the procedure is performed on both the upper and lower eyelids
Eyelid correction is performed in case of

Practice shows that eyelid correction helps to solve the above defects, reduce excess skin and fat, and correct the eye incision.
